Jeju Island is located 64 kilometers to the south of the Korean peninsula, Jeju is the largest island in Korea. This island was known in the West as Quelpart Island. Of volcanic origin, the highest point is the extinct volcano Halla 1950 meters. In this South Korean island beckon Harubang called or "stone grandfathers" sculptures that are elongated mushroom-shaped built with lava blocks.
